Lee Singletary was retained by KEB, Inc. both as our golf
consultant for Sage Meadows Golf Club in Jonesboro, Arkansas and as
our golf course architect in North Port, Florida for Bobcat Trail
Golf Club. Lee’s consultation on Sage Meadows was
exceptional as he helped us with studies, financing and
organization. Furthermore, his design work at Bobcat Trail exceeded
all our expectations and the golf course is receiving outstanding
reviews. Lee did an outstanding job for us in keeping contractor
costs in line with budgets. We look forward to working with Lee
again very soon. Please feel free to call me about Lee at your
convenience.

We utilized Lee at both our projects, Sage Meadows Golf Club in
Jonesboro, Arkansas as a consultant and at Bobcat Trail Golf and
Country Club as our golf course architect, an eighteen hole golf
course and development in North Port, Florida. Lee’s involvement at
Sage Meadows was extremely helpful to me as we structured financing,
negotiated equipment and hired personnel. At Bobcat Trail, Lee took
a flat piece of Florida landscape and gave it movement and flow the
likes of which they had not seen in that area. His playing skills
and ability to work with someone like Bob Tway provided an
opportunity for a unique design. Lee is destined to become an
outstanding golf course architect. The Marriott Hotel Golf
Management Company toured Bobcat Trail just before it opened this
fall and asked us “Who designed your course, Fazio”? Need I say more
about Lee Singletary’s talents. Please feel free to call me about
Lee at your convenience.

I worked with Lee exclusively on Bobcat Trail in North Port,
Florida. As the engineer and project manager for Bobcat, Lee’s
involvement and interaction with me was essential. He did an
outstanding job in working with our engineers and subcontractors and
created a great course. His construction drawings were detailed and
he worked with our golf course contractor thru the typical “tough”
situations you always face in a project like this and did an
outstanding job for KEB, Inc. Give me a call if I can answer any
further questions you may have about Lee Singletary.

To Whom It May Concern :
We began working with Lee Singletary on a project here in Dallas
that became known as Woodbridge in the spring of 1996. Lee took us
thru the entire process of golf facility development including
feasibility study analysis, budgets, operating pro-formas, design,
development and maturation. Lee was retained as our project
management consultant and as the golf course architect. While the
site was a challenge from an engineering and environmental
standpoint, he has produced one of the best golf courses in the
area.
Lee was responsible for working with not only the golf course
contractor and all related golf course construction aspects, but
also coordinated the clubhouse planning with the building architect
and the maintenance building program. He negotiated the acquisition
of our maintenance equipment and golf carts as well as the FF&E for
the clubhouse and other facilities. He provided project construction
management consultation for the buildings once we began them.
The golf course has been highly praised and Herzog Development
Corporation and our investors are extremely pleased with the job Lee
did designing Woodbridge. Please give me a call if you have any
questions about Lee and his involvement with Woodbridge Golf Club.

To Whom It May Concern :
My client, Bob Tway, recently completed design consultation on
a project in Florida with Lee Singletary of Singletary Golf
Services. Bob was extremely pleased with the finished product and
enjoyed his working relationship with Lee.
Lee also has a working relationship with another client of
ours, Corey Pavin, on a project in planning here in the Dallas / Ft.
Worth area.
I have known Lee since the middle 80’s as he directed one of
the best one day pro-ams in the golf industry. Many of my clients
participated in Lee’s events and repeatedly reported that he ran one
of the most enjoyable events they had played in. As I personally
played in several of those events, I can speak highly of Lee’s
administrative skills in this and other aspects of his business.
Please do not hesitate to give me a call if you have any
questions concerning Lee Singletary and his involvement with
Cornerstone Sports.

We acquired what was to become The Nutcracker Golf Club with
the need to redesign the existing nine and add a second nine. Lee
Singletary did an excellent job for us in that regard. We have been
very pleased with his ability to take our pecan orchard and present
a well designed layout that will compliment the modestly remodeled
first nine holes. Lee has been most cooperative and imaginative in
seeing that we get the most we can for the bucks we have to spend.
Please call if you have any questions concerning our relationship
with Lee.

As developer of White Bluff on Lake Whitney, we retained Lee to
design an 18 hole championship course for the project. Comments from
many people in the golf industry are consistent - “a great layout”.
Lee was enthusiastic and not afraid to put in the hours that
it took to produce an impressive finished product. I would not
hesitate to recommend him to anyone wishing to construct a first
class course.

As President of the Texas Golf Association, I have had the
opportunity to play most of the best courses in Texas. Briarwood Golf Club
was completely redesigned by Lee Singletary in 1985. In my opinion he did
a masterful job with a very low budget. He changed every hole on the old
course which made it one of the best tests in the East Texas area. Lee is
extremely knowledgeable in all phases of the game as he is a very fine
player himself. He has a creative mind and tremendous organizational
ability. Please feel free to give me a call if you would like to discuss
his work on the Briarwood project further.

It has been my pleasure to work with Lee Singletary over the past
several months. Lee was retained by our company to prepare a
complete market study including a comprehensive operating pro-forma
for a high end, daily fee golf course called Twin Creeks which our
company is subsequently constructing in the North Dallas
marketplace. Lee’s insight and contributions were critical as we
planned how to position our course and real estate development in
this competitive environment. Over my eight years with the Arvida
Company, I have been involved with several golf courses and various
marketing studies. The effort produced by Lee Singletary was by far
the best I have ever been associated with in terms of overall
quality, timeliness, thoroughness and usable recommendations. I
would highly recommend Lee Singletary for your next golf-related
development or operation.

As a member of the Board of Directors of Roy H. Laird Country
Club, I had the opportunity to work with Lee and his company as the
management entity for our club. Lee’s abilities were felt
immediately with his solicitation of key personnel and his
leadership in reversing the erosion of service, atmosphere,
membership morale and course conditioning for our club. Our food and
beverage operation returned to a level worthy of the “country club”
label and at the end of Lee’s contract term our club enjoyed a
relative financial stability and accountability from which we will
benefit for a long time. Lee’s people skills and team player
attitude benefited the club in many areas. In addition to my
relationship with Lee in regard to Roy H. Laird Country Club, I
served as President and C.E.O. of two local banks here in Kilgore
and maintained an excellent business banking relationship with Lee
over several years. I would highly recommend Lee to anyone who is
considering undertaking a golf related development or management
project. His knowledge and scope of the industry is unique and
outstanding. Please feel free to give me a call if I can answer any
further question you may have concerning Mr. Singletary.

As General Manager of Salina Country Club for over twelve years I
have been involved with four (4) other golf course architects. Lee
Singletary has been “the best of the bunch” and the club intends to
continue to use his services. Lee has worked on several phases of a
master plan he devised for us and all projects have gone well and
have been produced at the costs that Lee estimated. I think you will
find him a very capable designer with one great advantage over many
other architects because of his playing ability. I believe his
playing skills allow him to see things that an average course
architect just does not quite comprehend. Please feel free to call
me about Lee at your convenience.

Lee listened to our desires and did not try to force his ideas upon
us. Having dealt with five (5) other architects, this was an
exceptional and refreshing attribute. Lee’s ideas are innovative
without being out of character with the rest of our course. He is
extremely detailed and organized and his construction drawings and
presentations make it very easy for everyone to understand. Please
feel free to call me if I can answer any questions about Mr.
Singletary or his qualifications.

I have worked with Lee Singletary on several golf oriented
developments including real estate related projects. Lee has an
intelligent approach to both golf and golf related developments. He
has a systematic and intellectual method of doing golf course design
and in analyzing the feasibility of various golf course proposals. I
would highly recommend him as one who is easy to work with and whose
association would result in a high quality end product.
