About SGS
A native Texan, Lee was born in San Antonio, in
1956. He is married and makes his home in Plano, Texas.
Lee's family has a strong history of involvement in the golf industry. His
brother Robert is a PGA Professional having served as the Head
Professional at facilities like The Woodlands in Houston and Las Colinas
Country Club in Irving, Texas. Their father Mickey was a PGA professional
and Golf Course Superintendent for over 20 years. Lee's business
experience, past positions as a head professional and golf course
superintendent as well as his real estate and club management background
provides a broad range of experiences on which to draw from in providing
his services.
As captain of the golf team for Sam Houston State
University in 1978, Lee and his team won the N.A.I.A. Championship for the
first time. He garnered individual All American honors in both 1977 and
1978. He is a Class A Member of the PGA of America. Lee has completed the
Harvard University Graduate School of Design course in Golf Course
Architecture as well as PGA Business Schools I & II. Lee graduated from
Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas in 1978 with a B.B.A. in
Business Management.

PGA of America, the Club Managers Association of America, the Golf
Course Superintendents Association of America, the National Golf Course
Owners Association of America, the United States Golf Association, turf
grass consultants, developers, architects, engineers, professional
management and marketing entities, as well as many other professional
relationships provide SGS with the background to provide these services
on a unique level.
